What are you looking to replace for 2k10
snaphook96 replied to brullo1's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I might buy another RAC wedge because my new set of titleist irons I got recently have no sand wedge and and I am using my SW from my Cobra 3100I/l Set . -
I might look into Irons with a wedge at Christmas. Next year maybe 5wood/2 Iron or Scotty Cameron Circa 62 on the Cheap

Thanks see I have never much experiance with dg shafts barr a couple of shots with my friends tw blades with r300s.. I play N.S Nippon Pros in mine. Would I lose much distance with the stiff? Thanks everyine who contributed -
The Nike Juice goes forever but it so hard and has almost no spin.

Are S300 Really that Stiff?
snaphook96 replied to snaphook96's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
It is yards and as my distance is rising quickly i do really not know what to do as i can get there real cheap and dont mind a 5-10yard decrease now for a 5-10 yard increase in 1 or 2s year -

No prob, ya I heard that as well off golf digest i think, and that was the reason of me checking the S300s before I pull the trigger -
Yesterday I was looking in a local golf shops used section. I came across some good deals on Titleist 690 mbs and 695 mb. I know they are a bit hard to hit for my handicap(14), but i am going to practice and play about 4-5 times a week. As I am very keen on getting down my handicap. Anyway both have Dynamic Gold S300s. I was wondering are they that stiff? And Would the 690 MBs lose a bit of distance as they are 4 years old but groove conditions are good. I can get the 690mbs for €183($274) and the 695 for €325($485) Also i am a student in high school and am doing physical training(Stegth) and yardages have been coming along nicely. Would I be able for the stiff flex? My yardages PW 110 yards 7i 135 yards 5i 145-150 yards

Recommend a Taylormade rescue
snaphook96 replied to Mr Soane's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Ya you are very correct buy hitting it as an iron it will get more height and spin. But dont be fooled because although the 3 rescue/hybrid is the same loft as the 3 iron it will go farther because it is a wood. Hence a 4 Rescue would be around a 3 iron, Get Me? -
Nike SQ Dymo 2 Driver
snaphook96 replied to PaddyHarrington's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
What I honestly think is get lessons instead, You are off 23 at the moment and if you get a couple of lessons you could get down to 10 with a bit of pratice -
Well the Tour i is the same as the normal Pro V1(Not X) Tour iX is the Same as the Pro V1x I like the Tour i it spins more than the ProV1x and and is very soft but rips up much easier than the more durable Pro V1x

Titleist Vokey VS. TaylorMade TP zip wedges
snaphook96 replied to TaylorMadeMark's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I have the RAC Z TP 60* Lob wedge and it is great. Plenty of spin and has good feel. Its great for tight shots, lob shots and chipping -
Who is you favourite club maker and why?
-
That was exactaly what I was thinking. Blades are hard enough to hit but you need to put a good swing on it to hit it right and that would mean I would have to make my swing better to master them it would make me a better ballstriker. My friend off 8 spotted I had a weak left grip today, so I changed it, it made my swing shorter and more compact ,it and hit my clubs bout 10 yards farther and making better contact. I should get my handicap down a lot I practice harder It was nice addition to my 10 yards Extra I got with my brand new 909 Driver compared to the 907 D1. P.S Shot 6 Over for the Front Nine 4 Pars 1 D.Bogey and rest Bogeys.

8i 115 7 yards longer than mine 5i 145 10 yards longer than mine. My irons are 5 years old so i would say new clubface technology would give extra distance and feel.
-
I hit them they are lovey all right.
-
Well you get more control with a 460cc(Big Head) because it has a lot more MOI(To straighten the club at Impact) If you really want a straight driver check out the Callaway FT-9 or The FT-i They are both Square and have the maximun MOI allowed

Hi, well I play 3-4 days a week and would be willing to give them a real try.But when I go back to school. I might Play Once a week and go the range some evenings as well. How do you find your Titleist 695s?
-
Hi I'm From Kilconly,Tuam I go to athenry a lot. My Home course is Claremorris

Thanks! Looked at AP2s today and they look sweet. If I decide to go for them I will wait till The Titleist 710 AP2's Come and pick 08' model cheap.

What happens is,(Long Par 4) I hit Driver, Wood Iron in(8i 9i) 2 putts at most. Short par 4s(Driver, 6i, chip or pitch if i miss the green and 2 putts. I am a good putter but when hitting 3 wood into long Par 4s the results are not always great. Reason for blades is to get closer to hole more putts from 10ft in iam fairly good might hole out 6 or 7 out of 10 times. I have no control over the flight of mine at the moment. Hit my friends Nike TW Forged Blades and from 130 in you would be disgusted to be at least off the green. But I now what you mean about my handicap lost 9 Strokes this Year.

How about the AP2's was thinking about those too?

Cool will give them a go what do you thinks of the Taylormade RAC MB Project X 5.5?
