Nice thread. First post here...BTW. I'm new to the game. I picked it up last year during a work golf outing and had a great time. I'm a bike racer historically, and always had an aversion to golf as I felt it was not a worthy 'sport.' I realize now that was the wrong attitude. Anyway, here are my meager goals for the rest of this year: 1. Play as much as possible. 2. Develop a handicap to establish a baseline for improvement. 3. Have fun. Cheers!
