  1. thanks JBL that makes since. i see you have a diamana blue board in your driver and the proforce V2 in your woods/hybrid. those are both excellent shafts and would you mind explaining the general feel, and characteristics of the shafts? im also looking at aldila nv or a graffloy shaft. my G15 is 9 degrees and im looking to raise my ball flight just a little bit from the very low launch shaft i have now(Aldila serrano) but not raise it too much. any thoughts or suggestions?
  2. i havent been into my signature for a while im sorry. i no longer carry those woods in my bag i now have the G15, the cleveland launcher, and the V steel, and go with the 3 iron from there. but the main thing im looking for is where can i get all of this shaft fitting done in one place and finally get this right? thanks for the information that makes since and is now that i think about it how most people have their shafts arranged. All i want is consistancy in my shafts, weather it be them all being the same, or all being different to fit exactly what i need for that club, but i would really like to know where the absolute best place is to do this where i could try ALL SHAFTS! i realize i wont be able to try them all but i dont wana get anything but the exact shaft i need for all of my woods. thank alot!
  3. Okay so i have all the clubs that i was as far as my 5 wood, 3 wood, and Driver but the inconsistency in the shafts is killing me! in my G15 i have a 55 gram Aldila Serrano stiff that im pretty sure is too light for my swing speed and tempo (105-110, and a fairly moderate tempo), and am very inconsistent with it. In my Cleveland Launcher fairway wood i have the stock 65 gram Fugikura shaft, and it feels a little funny at contact and am not sure about it. and the stock shaft in my Taylormade V Steel is just a peice of junk! so what i want to do is get completely fitted for all of these thing by someone who knows what they are doing. i want all the right weight and stiffness and lengths in all my shafts to fit my swing so i can be done with it and finally play my best golf!! Im willing to spend a good chunk of money to do this but where is somewhere where i can get a guy to help me go from shafts A-Z in all brands, stiffness, tourque, length, and weight, so i can finally get this right! Any help would be greatly appreciated im ready to get this right ! also is it usual that shafts weight progresses up and you go from driver to 3 wood to 5 wood to hybrid? Ex. 65-70-75-80? Is that how it usually works? I k now its different for everyone, but just as a general question.
  4. Thanks for the info guys! what about the sound? i have hit the steelheads alot mor than the v-steels, and i know that they made a pretty exploding load sound at impact, but its still crisp. Its been a while since ive hit the v-steel so i cant remember if it has that same sound or is a little less of that "ping" sound. any comments? thanks alot!
  5. hahaha i can see that rmccabe! no kidding! anybody else? which do you think is longer, or more forgiving? and also the steelheads are easy as pie to hit of the deck but what about the v steel?
  6. picked up the power hitter driver, iron, and L wedge at a pawn shop for 75 dollers! haha what a steal. these are all great especially the driver and iron they really loosen you up, and when you pick your driver back up it feels EXTREMELY weird at first! but just swing it a few times and hit balls and itll blow your mind! just keep your head down and dont swing to hard just keep the same tempo and youll see how much better you clubhead comes through the ball and your distance. great product!
  7. so im getting a new 5 wood off of Ebay soon and these are my two options. ive hit both of these clubs in a 3 wood and i love the sound and feel that steel headed clubs have. also they have a smaller head than usual and sit well behing the ball. Im getting a 5 wood so has anyone else hit them and how do you like them? also are the v steel fairways actually "steelheaded" like the callaway? and any other opinions would be very appreciated! thanks
  8. okay thanks ill check it out. anything else anyone??
  9. Thanks I really like the idea about the clubs for handicapped people clambake that's really cool. Anymore ideas about that or just anything else I could use for making clubs would be great. The the main goal for the project is to get into something you really don't know anything about, but still something that intrests you. And thanks for the comments Rob, if your just here to bash me for some reason then get a life.... Thanks everyone hope to hear more!
  10. Im a Junior in high school, and I have to to a graduation project before the give you your diploma, so im going ahead and figuring out what i want to do, because i have to have a product to present along with a paper. I dont really know much of anything about custom club building or club making but i figured wgile doing this stupid project i could throw a few clubs in the bag haha. I know that snake eyes is a main brand for club making, but i would like to know any other good ones, and if these clubs are really worth putting in your bag? like a wedge or fairway wood, or putter. the prices are pretty cheap so can these clubs really compete with titleist, TM, Ping, etc.? Any help is appreciated thanks!
  11. its a weighted club thats weighted on the shaft and head, unlike anyothers to make it not just a heavy club head, but still the same weight distrabution as a normal club just hevier. its supposed to put you in the correct position on your swing so you cant do that outside-in slice swing. and you can hit balls with it its great!
  12. Picked up the 310 gram Power Hitter Driver, the Power Hitter iron, and Power Hitter lob wedge at my local pawn shop for 50 dollers! (the driver alone is a little over 100) all in good condition. I took some swings in my back yark and it felt prety good i cant wait to go hit them! ofcourse weve all seen Butch Harmon endorsing these on those golf channel info-commercials, and it seems like it really does help out alot. I mean he did put his name to it. Anybody else have one or heard any reviews on them? good? bad? THANKS
  13. I have the Serrano shaft (the lower launching of the en fuego series) in my G15 now. its a good shaft just not the right weight for me... 60 grams.
