  1. My son used a set of Nike Eagle junior clubs when he was younger. They were perfect for kids around 5' tall. When he grew to about 5'3", he moved on to a set of ladies clubs. The Nike junior clubs in the links above are likely more current versions of the Eagles.
  2. Like many of us, I have made many golf purchases both at brick-and-mortar stores and online. 99% of the time, there are no issues. That's why most of the responses regarding any merchant come back positive. You separate the wheat from the chaff by how they treat you during the 1% of the time there are issues. I had one large online merchant refuse to refund return shipping on a purchase of a known defective product (they admitted knowing about the defect for 6 months, yet kept selling that product online. The "customer service" manager stated that I was lucky to even be offered a refund on the product without prepaid return shipping). That was the worst experience. On the other hand, I had a large Ebay golf merchant run out of the product for an auction I won. They emailed me apologizing and stating that if I ever saw the same product on their Ebay site or on their own website in the future, they would honor my auction price. In post like this, it would be enlightening to hear from other customers who have had issues with vendor XXX to see how their problems were resolved.
  3. Speaking of Vokey C-C wedges, there was a thread I read a few weeks ago which showed the measured spin rates of the C-C wedges compared to the 2009 Spin Milled Vokeys, CG15s, X-Tours, and other wedges from the fairway and from the rough. I searched for that post this weekend using various keyword combinations, but could not locate it. I even tried Google. Can someone post a link? Thanks
  4. When my son was about that height, I moved him to a set of Nike Eagle clubs which included a PW and putter. Those clubs were designed for juniors 4'10" and taller. That was a few years ago, so I don't know if Nike still offers a similar model. Sports Authority and Roger Dunn Golf carried the Nike Eagles. When he reached about 5'2", I switched him to womens clubs. Cleveland made women's versions of their 588 and CG11 wedges (shorter length with lighter, graphite shafts). I believe Cleveland currently makes a women's version of the CG14.
