For the first time ever yesterday, I managed to birdie the first at my local club. It's a par 4, fairway slopes down to the left towards heavy rough. The green is surrounded by bunkers at the front and there is a bit of a drop off at the back of the green. The short of this was a great drive up the middle which held fairway and my second, an 8 iron to the middle of the green. The putt was a straight one, about 12 ft. After this great start, i somehow managed to put one of my worst rounds ever together. Well done me, i'm magic.

Hi there, One day i can go out and play great, the next i hack my way around. Does anyone know much about golf psychology? How do i get into it? What are the best techniques / teachers out there? Thanks for your help with this. Steve

I have some new clubs, my uncles Ping Zings 2. And finally i have learned how to use my Driver. So to be able to drive off the first, straight up the fairway, 230yds, Im very happy. :)

Our course is par 71. My handicap is 18 but i can rarely play to it. If i can get 5 pars in a round i am pretty happy. My game recently has gone to hell, dont know whats happening. Help!
