Thanks everyone for the replies. Typically playing stableford in Australia; I had a partner playing off 20 HC say that he finished “square with the card”. I assumed this was because he ended up with 36 points i.e scored 2 points per hole. Cheers!

Hello all, just started playing after 20yrs away. Newbie question: what does the term “square with the card” mean? I’m currently on 24 HC. Thanks in advance.
