  2. thanks Mike!
  3. Hello from western NY here...going to try to get back into the golf game more seriously this year... Thanks for the review of the JPX 800 pro irons, I am going to pull the trigger on a new set next week. I was able to get to a single digit handicap once but am far far away from there now. Looking forward to reading more posts and putting more swing thoughts in my head...
  4. Erik, I think I read all of the posts and I have (another) question about the spine angle. When I try to maintain my spine angle it seems to help me make better contact but when I think of spine angle I am talking about the angle between a line from my waist down thru my legs and another line from my waist up my spine thru my head - like a side on view. If I keep my head still, wouldn't this angle be maintained? Which would mean that my shoulders just rotate around my spine? Or am I way off?
  5. Super newbie here... I am a scumbag sub on a monday night league at a local 9 holer. The last hole is a 220ish yard par 3 with a bunker on the left side and OB on the right. I stroked my 4 iron left of the green and had to pitch 15 yards over the bunker with the OB very visible on the other side. I laid open my wedge and did my best Phil Mickelson impersonation and flopped it to 3 feet and saved par. I didn't get the course record but it was a nice way to end a so-so round.
