Hello everyone, My name is Chris. I am from Houston TX, and just thought I'd drop in to introduce myself. I got into golf about six years ago, but didn't really play all that much. I played maybe four rounds per year. The last round I played, is when I finally broke 100. That was about a year ago. I quit playing due to a divorce. I have recently remarried, and my wife and I are both just getting started again. My wife has never played, but is anxious about getting started. We have been hitting the range at least three days a week, me trying to get back into the swing of it, and her just trying to develop her swing. I am looking forward to getting back out on the course, and looking forward to getting some good advice on the forum. From what I have been reading on here so far, there seems to be lots of nice people here that are more than willing to help. I am sure I will have some questions soon, but for now, I am still just reading and trying to catch up. Anyway, that's about it for now. Be ready though, the questions will surely come.

Right now, I am working on getting rid of my slice with the driver. Reading Ben's book, and going to the range every chance I get.

I just picked the book up a couple days ago, so I can't say that it has helped improve my game. I can say, that is an easy read so far, and I can't wait to put it to use.

I am an offshore pipeline controller. I also control several lines onshore from Corpus to Mont Belvieu TX.
