Well hello there friends, just figured I'd throw my hands up and say hi. My name's Brad and I currently reside down in the Bayou State in a small town outside Baton Rouge. I work at a Kia dealership as an Assistant Service Manager and play golf on the weekend or my off days. I'm one of those lucky ones that has a wife who loves to play and enjoys coming with me. I've been playing since I was about 8 years old with a long break from when I was about 15/16. We just started playing again a month or so ago and have fallen in love with the game all over again. I used my father's clubs for a little bit, but they were a little too long for me. Since I didn't really know what clubs to get etc etc, I just bought a cheap-o ebay set with a bag for like $70. I know, I know, the clubs are embarassing. Although, for my current skill level/accuracy, I think they're an alright fit until I find a decent used set. I'm finishing in the upper 90s/low 100s for 18 holes and I usually put a little left to right midair spin on my drives so I figure until I master my swing, beginner's clubs are fine... :) Nice to meet you all and I hope I can learn something!

My best was a 30' putt for par on the very first hole of only the third game I've played in 8 years. It was about three weeks ago and was total total luck. It was a Par 4, and I was on the green in three sitting on the fringe. My wife was still chipping her way up so I figured I'd tap the ball toward the hole abit and get a little closer. Needless to say, it roll all the way in. Best shot of my life, super super ecstatic.

Well, I just recently started playing again (been playing on and off since I was like 8 years old) so my wife and I headed out to a local course here and have played about three times this past month. First week - 52 out, 52 in totaling 104 Second week - 57 out, 47 in totaling 104 This past wednesday - 52 out, 45 in totaling 97 - best I've ever done albeit 26 over par... lol
