  1. Hi all, I am new to the forums and just thought that I would say hello. I am also fairly new to golf, I have only been playing seriously for the last few months, prior I had played maybe once a year or so. I decided to take the financial jump and get some decent gear. So far, I have been hitting the driving range to work on my slice, and get myself used to how far I can hit each of my clubs. Last week was the first time I was able to consistently drive without any slice. I took a hit on power, but accuracy is more important I suppose. I am driving consistently over 270y. Sometimes as far as 300y. My short game is usually where I struggle, so that is where I am going to really concentrate this season. There are several great courses around here, in NJ and out on Long Island as well. Anyone from around here? I am originally from Ontario, Canada and I don't know many people. What is everyone's opinion on showing up to hitch a round with a group of 3 etc.? Thanks very much. Cheers
  2. This was just at the driving range, and it happened multiple times, but it was life altering for me. I have only been playing for a few months, but I have finally rid of my slice! I have always had to account for it while using my driver. I am happy to say that it is gone for good, and I am hitting 250+ every drive.
