Thanks alot for the info I'm going to a few places tomorrow to try and get fit for my first setup of irons so well see.

Not to bring this back from the dead but is there anywhere you can buy a set of split irons? I have been wanting this setup but cant afford to buy two sets of irons just to make it work. Thanks Jim

I work at the United Center Box Office in Chicago, Il where the Blackhawks and Bulls play. I also work at Wrigley field and U.S. Cell every now and then, where two Chicago land professional baseball teams play. Pretty fun job, has its up's and down's just like every other job.

Was a Par 3 about 167 yards and a little up hill. Used my 7 Iron and let it rip landed 2 footer from the hole for my first birdie playing golf.

Last time I played was about 2 weeks ago at a course in the Chicago burbs, Its called Flagg Creek. This is the second time Ive played this course this year, first time I shot a 52 and two weeks ago I picked up two strokes and shot a 49. This is only a 9 hole course. Played Big run and a few others in the Chicago land but shot about a 130. Stop keeping score after the front 9. This is my first year playing golf and fell in love with it right away. Jim
