  1. New to the board, live in Waukesha. Always looking for someone to head out with, as I don't have many friends/family who golf a lot. And I guess I'll change it up a bit. . . .. 2006 grad of
  2. My brother in law works for a golf association and gets a significant amount of gear from manufacturers. When I got back into golf earlier this year, he told me not to buy a driver, as he would send me one he had 'laying around'. In the mail came the CB3 Tour driver. To be honest, I had never heard of Tour Edge before it showed up at my doorstep. I absolutely love it. Decent distance, pretty straight (although I've never really had a hard time keeping my drives close to the fairway). The price didn't hurt either
  3. 79 (42/27) at a local course (115 slope / 70.0 rating). 11 fo 14 fairways, 8 of 18 greens, 34 putts. I find my game is drastically different on 110-115 slope courses than 120-135 (10-15 strokes).
  4. Multiple areas: 1). 4 and 5 irons. I had a very open stance which was adjusted by my local pro, however I still have a slight fade at the end of the shot. Additionally, these clubs are prone to more 'chunking' for me - hitting the ground 2-3 inches before the ball resulting in a mis-hit. 2). Consistent stroke on chips. I haven't figured out my chipping yet. I try to stick with a sand wedge, however my swing is vastly different when in close compared to further out. This has recently led to me hitting most shots long (landing the ball at my target rather then letting it release to the hole). I also have very little spin on shorter chips - I can't stop anything. 3). Core strength. Stomach, shoulder and back exercises have really helped my game. Hitting through more shots, better divots, etc. I'd like to keep it up through the winter to see where I end up next spring.
  5. First post here. I'm in commercial banking, and just moved from the credit side to the sales side. Hopefully this will give me the opportunity to play more golf!
