  1. You think you are so funny. Like I said, no one has to believe my handicap. It makes no difference as to what you or anyone else thinks of it. I asked a simple question about a problem I'm having and no one can seem to answer it. Now, if you don't have an answer to my original question, don't post in this thread.
  2. And thats fine. No one says you have to believe me. This is the internet, you aren't going to hurt my feelings.
  3. yeah ok. im sorry you are jealous. For your information I have been stuck at a 4 handicap for awhile now, even when I was playing a lot.
  4. i just can't see it being the grooves as these clubs are 8 or 10 years old. I checked them out and they aren't in bad shape. Nothing that should be ripping up my balls anyways. By the way, I have done this with other peoples clubs too. And I am not catching my shots thin. If I was I highly doubt I would be maintaining a 4 handicap and only playing a few times a year. However I could be totally wrong
  5. I really doubt that I'm hitting it thin. My ball flight does not suggest it and neither does the divot. I will look over my clubs for damage. And I was refering to getting new wedges and having the same problem. I have hit some clevelands a couple of times and I get more spin. Will do on checking my irons. But it happens with multiple clubs, not just one.
  6. So, I tear the cover up on any ball I use. Doesn't matter if its a top flight or a pro v1. I do this with my short irons and wedges. My clubs are like 8 or 10 year old tommy armours. I want to buy a new set of clubs and wedges but I am afraid the problem will just get worse. Any idea as to what is making me tear the cover of the balls up?
  7. I love golf for the mental and physical challenge. Its great to be able to constantly learn something new. When I started playing in middle school I never looked back. I played every day that I could. Before I got a job, I would be at the course at sunrise and stay until dark. Even then, since I lived next to the course, I would put a flood light so I could see the hole and practice my short game at night. During the summer, if I didnt get at least 36 holes in by the end of the day I wasnt a happy camper. And yes, I walked every hole. I miss those days though. School and work keep me off the course most of the time now.
  8. I would never try to match everything. I have a callaway driver, mizuno irons, scotty cameron putter and vokey wedges in a ping bag. Wear footjoy cleats. I could careless if everything is matched or not because it will do nothing to improve my game.
  9. Some good info in here. I was getting ready to reshaft my irons, so Im glad I caught this.
  10. I have been looking at the cg10's because I need a new set of wedges. Guess I'm going to have to find somethign else if they wear out fast.
