  1. I had a club fitting with an R11 and asked the same question about it and was told by the pro that the sole plate was purely cosmetic. It only works if you ground the club. If you ground it the sole plate will simply change the angle that you see from your address position. However, it does nothing to change the loft or lie of the club when you swing it.
  2. Swing Speed: 85.36 Ball Velocity 122.7 Launch Angle 16.1 Ball Spin 2302 Carry 196.3 Total 216.9 PTR 143.9 All of these are based on using a Taylormade R7 425 9.5*, Stiff, driver, standard length and lie. Thanks for your help.
