  1. Thanks guys golf evolution guys have alot of good stuff
  2. Thanks if you have anything else I would gladly watch
  3. I'm getting back into golf after 3 yr. layoff. I like Sean Foley's swing ideas but can't find alot of info on youtube for drills. Are there any other guys that have the same philosophies as Sean.I like the idea about no weight shift and a laterial bump or squat forward to start the downswing.
  4. Iplayed a few courses up your way. Beechwood,Crab apple ridge,Elk Valley, riverside,DOWNING ,Beautiful overlake I liked them all except Beechwood
  5. Best places to play in PA. My favorite golf course in PA is ST.COLLEGE ELKS
  6. Garmin logix gps-8 has everything you need $185@dicks sporting goods, it is not color thats the only thin u wanted that it doesn't have. Also certain cell phones( I think blackberrys and I phones) can be used as gps systems.
  7. They have grips that help you release the club. I think they are called Release Feel grips . You can find these grips @ online golf shops like golfsmith. Also all the brand name drivers have draw set-up very cheap $130 taylormade burner draw $129.00 @ dicks sporting goods. Last to help you hit draw, put a towel under your left armpit start your backswing with your left shoulder turning and start your downswing by gently bumping your left knee forward and if the towel stays under armpit you will not slice the ball
  8. Stand closer to the ball ,club should be tilted away from body, toe down and heel up,weight forward 60/40 and make puttin stroke. You will never shank chip again. Shanks are caused by an inside to outside stroke with the hosel hitting the ball instead of club face.Keep weight on balls of feet, leaning forward on the downswing is a major cause of shanks
  9. This is why I practiced very hard to get to the championship flight. My handicap for 5-6 yrs was a 4.Now I have 3 kids 8,2n1 and no time to play or practice.
  10. He doesn't post scores because our league is a 9 hole league and our course is 18 holes
  11. Let me know if Iam crazy my wife thinks so.Last week we had our Sat. & Sun. 2-man best ball tourney.I enjoy playing in anything club related we know everybody and it is usually a great time. This year I've been playing in a mens league just to play along with this guy(sandbagger) and see how he plays. The league 8th wk. 9 hole play with full hadicap this guys a 15.7 he gets 8 strokes an his worst score so far in this league is 44 with his average score for the league is 41.So on too last weekends 2man best ball he and his partner shot 12 under on Sat. and 9 under on Sun. oh did I forget to mention he is the manager of the golf course.I'VE HAD ENOUGH I went to the mens golf committee meeting and said this has to stop he needs his handicap adjusted. He has either won or come in top 4 in every event in the last 2yrs.We have his tourney scores why aren't they posted and they posted them using handicap calculator he will now be a 5.8.He said that wasn't fair because some of the tourney holes he picked up and didn't finish and wrote down 1 higher than his partner. The pres. said then your score card would be incorrect the sandbagger said FU AND LEFT. JOB WELL DOWN
  12. I also use this method with my wedges from 120yds and in I tried it with the 9but tended to push it right too much
  13. Put 60% of your weight on your front foot and leave it there. Take a practice swing find out where you take your divot and play the ball there.Ball will fly lower with lots of spin hit once and check up. Another trick is point the toe of the club down and heal of the club up this works better around the green.
  14. I also use a hybrid when Iam chipping from just off green 2-3ft tops and from light rough. It is a nice way to chip from 20ft+
