18th Hole. I finally got there on such a gusty windy day. 35 mph wind day. Par 5. I really wanted a par to end the day. my fourth shot had 150 yards to the pin mid right pin position. Wind gusting from left to right. I hit a 6 iron aimed about 12 yards left of the pin. It was hit pure and my draw fought against the wind til it got to the top of the trajectory. then the wind started to help it move towards the pin. Hit the green about 7-8 yards left of the pin then it rolled a foot or so toward the hole for a nice chance for a par. my 6-iron goes 180 yards so I added like 3 clubs.

Played yesterday at 36degree cold weather. Played with northface jacket and a scarf. nobody at the golf course, finished 18 holes in 2 hours and 10 minutes. 11/18 GIRs, 10/14 Fairways hit. 3 bridies, 9 pars, 5 bogeys, and a triple bogey for a 77.

I will shoot even par (or better) this summer.

82........41 front 41 back. Could have been a great round....birdied 14th and I was 5 over par. Double bogeyed 15th that retarded my momentum. and subsequently finished bogey bogey bogey.

So I had this shot about a month ago but I thought I'd tell it here. It was 467 par 4. I mis-hit a driver and it went right of the fairway. The lie was pretty good. Distance to the hole was 223 yards. I was thinking 5w or 3i but I knew 3i wouldnt reach (I hit it 205) and it was uphill and wind. And my 5w would be too long (240ish). So I aimed at the left bunker and hit a pure fade that started beautifully where I aimed and started to cut toward the left of the green. The ball hits the green, spinned and rolled toward the hole for an eagle! my longest hole-out haha.

shot 76 yesterday; 2 in the front, and 2 in the back. 3 birdies. 1 double. 5 bogeys. 3 putted twice--Easy putts that I just let em slip. Missed about 6-7 fairly easy putts. and a wrong club on one of the holes that resulted in a bogey when I could have gotten easily a par or a bird.

my favorite right now is Sean O'Hair's swing. His iron shots are awesome.

I have to say my best shot this week was on a 471 yard par 4; After a poor drive i had 230 yards to the pin, slightly uphill, bunker in front of the green, water right, hurting wind. It was the last hole and I felt like getting in on in 2. Hit a 3-wood so crisp got it within 10 feet. Didn't make the putt for bird but it was just pure.

wow so tired...played two rounds today. first round: from the tips. started with double bogey first hole. then next 7 holes 2 under. back nine i had one quadruple bogey and few bogeys for 10 over 82. second round: walked 6700 yards; 8 bogeys, one triple bogey, rest pars for 11 over 81 *par 70.

I'd say Kevin Na's gonna make a run in this tournament!
