  1. This book is a classic. Written nearly 60 years ago and with just the right amount of instruction for each section of the swing not to bog the average golfer down with to many swing thoughts. Lots of nice /simple drawings to help explain different swing possitions. It is still a great book in 2010 so it must have been like a golfing bible in the 1950's. This book and the man himself will live on for every in all who have read it.
  2. I only say "get in the hole" in the bedroom when the lights are off. Got to admit that it does down grade the golf coverage from the states. The other tours may have weaker golfers , but not hearing a goose shouting makes up for it.
  3. Hope all goes well for you iturn463. Micheal has written a great post about Perth. I agree will alll he has put in the post and would also recommend you visit another golf forum called "Ozgolf" It uses the same format as this one and there are many golfers from Perth on it. We have regular golf days out and most are members of the course that have been mentioned. The guys range from early twenties to mid forties and handicaps from 3.5 to 27 ( most are 10-20 ). Have a look and send a post on Ozgolf ( just tell them Topdog recommended you to post here for info and help). They are a funny bunch , but very good at heart and all the golf days are great fun. Enjoy Perth and have fun.
