When athletes are recruited into the pro ranks such as the nfl, nba, and so forth they are judged by their performance in their particular sport. I have never watched a draft day or a Q school that awarded or took away points for monogamy. I agree that what Tiger has done is disappointing but I can understand it. He is the most wealthy and famous athlete in the world. The most beautiful women are offered up to him I'm sure every day. Any man that can sit here and say that he could turn that down is fooling himself. It's easy to say when your not in that situation and have no concept of it. That being said, I feel alot of the bashing is coming from another direction. Tiger has been under a microscope since he came on the scene and people have been looking for some small chink in the armor to pick at and they finally found it. The problem though is that it has nothing to do with golf no matter how much they try to fuse the two. Tiger is still the number one player in golf and will be for quite a while. He brought his C+ game to the masters and still hung close to Phil playing his best. I can't wait until the rust is polished off.
