  1. Change your headcovers Bahahahahahaha
  2. Traded up from a R-5 Draw: I hit my new burner at least 10-15 yds more, and I have hit drivers in the 290-300 yd range fairly often. The easy swing is the key: When I try to hammer the Burner, I ususally block right and end up in someone's Living room. Or a pull-hook. Easy swing, solid contact, means 280+, at least, and playing from the short stuff. Now if I could roll in a 6' putt.....
  3. And bad for team chemistry. No road trips, certainly does not care about team first, etc... Besides, would he really want to come be a #4? Is he good enough to BE our #4? (over Wakefield right now?) 4.5M/month for a solid #5, HAHAH! I agree with Schil on 38pitches blog. NO NEED
  4. Signing more bad horses does not improve the chariot. 4.5M/month for a 6 inning pitcher. And dont forget when he was mowing 'em down for 6 innings last year, thats only pitching to 8 guys, not 9. Looking forward ti his first start in REAL hitting league, likely to be June 2, and likely to be against a good pitcher. The game will if course draw 20 million viewers.
  5. [QUOTE=NM Golf;48778]Here is another awful story of extreme sandbagging. Yesterday I played in a Las Vegas scramble. For those of you who don't know what that is, everyone hits a drive, you pick the best drive and everyone hits from that spot. From there you play your own ball in and record an individual score. We here in Vegas call that a Shamble! (I would also call a 24 who shoots par a SHAM.)

YIKES! NO!!!! Missed you at Vendor Demo yesterday,. Chirs was H O T again.
  7. Driver (new Taylor made Buerner, Xstiff, 9.5) --- 270-290, a few roll to 310 or so. A few others end up in bad places, like houses, streets, etc. 3 wood: 240 (R-7 draw. Nice club) 2Hybrid- 210-220- like a missile-very straight. 4Hybrid: 190-200- high and lands soft. 5i --- 180 6i --- 165 7i --- 155 8i --- 145 9i --- 130 pw --- 120 AW --- 100-110 SW --- 85-95 (tend to use a pw with smaller swing instead of pressing) 60 Lob- --- 30-50- would hit bigger club for more, small swing.

Agree - Bill is a GENIUS. but the last thing Pats need is another QB- we need Brady for 10 more years! They've been doing tehse amazing trades for like 5 stright years. I cant believe Moss in NE. I was i nshock when I read it. Just hope Randy shows up to playk unlike last year, and 04.
  13. I agree with the "lessons" theory. Last summer, I was regularly shooting in the low 90's, and had a 21 cap. I took a block of lessons which fixed a lot of dumb things I was doing almost immediately, and within 2 weeks was shooting closer to 85 (and carded 2 rounds into system of 85). During this time, we had a tournament, and I shot 83, so net 62. I also saw a guy in my flight at a different event with a 16 shoot a 77. Everyone can have a good day sometimes. (she shot 90 the next day, though!) It all evens out in the end, you have to hope. (I think the real lesson of my store is that I should go back to taking lessons!)
  14. If I may add a few others.... Primm Valley has 2 great courses (though I have not played, have heard great!) about 30 minutes South. Black Mountain is my home course: surprisingly tough, when rough is in full bloom, is deep. Also 27 holes. Revere @ Anthem I played a few years ago- was very nice.
  15. Summer is actually not bad, but SERIOUSLY you have to get a tee time before 8 AM! Lake las vegas is home of Reflection Bay and a few others...GOOD stuff!
  16. VEGAS, baby! 75+golf courses, some dumps (Muni, Craig Ranch) some unbelieveable -Reflection Bay, TPC Summerlin, TPC Canyon 2 different TPC's! Of course, if you plan to come in summer, better get a time
  17. Sox pitching was a little off, actually- Funny, showed the holes in Yankees pitching at every level. Perhaps their plan to give up 5 runs a game but score 9 was a little demented? Sox did hold them to 5 per game, seems like a lot. Bahahah. Can't say the Yankees did not take this series seriously: Pettite in relief in the 7th? On 2 days rest? PS- back to back to back to back HOMERS!
  18. Ah yeah, but they barely matter right now: 140+games to play? And not even against the SOX? PS- Chek Ortiz walk-off stats.
  19. Just remember none in last 5 years, October Collapses.. Nice grand Slam this weekend from Mr April, though!
  20. Yankee Suck. GO SOX!
