Zeph it is in a way, but I play at a private and a public course what will save the game is all the great friends that I play with at the public course and no one is giving them there cards marked up or better most don't even understand the handicap system. New golfers look at the card and th ere score say screw this! the game is too dam hard for me to compete. That is all they hear from the equipment co. You must score well or you suck. Only seasoned old timers or veterans relax and except the scores they come in with. A picture is worth a thousand words.
