  1. I think the only way to get players attention is by assesing strokes for falling behind. Fines obviously won't do it. It does not have to be the whole group, a single player can be singled out. Every single player, caddie, PGA official, PGA crew and PGA wife know who the slow players are.
  2. I will try the driver probably not the irons. I have a sweet R9 sitting in my garage while my 5+ year old R7 425 gets used in every round. Don't know why, I just can't move away from my 425. I am a TM driver guy all the way.
  3. When playing with your friends and/or strangers and they putt in a non-conventional manner, does it bother you at all? Bother you to the point of making you look away when they putt, laugh to yourself or even moan to your inner-self when they make crazy putts with let's say a long putter--like it's somehow cheating? or whatever style someone putts with does it not make one bit of difference to you at all? It's 2011 and who cares! When I say unconventional I'm thinking: Long Putter Belly Putter Sidesaddle/Face-On Putter (does anybody here putt this way?) Hammy style putter For me, I simply don't care what anybody else putts with, drives, swings like etc... as long as they are pleasant to be around, follow the rules and are somewhat speedy. But, I have been messing around with different putters over the past few years and have always been curious what goes through others head's. Of course none of my friends seem to care but at the same time, I don't know how many would actually say anything if they did.
  4. I see no problem with viewers having the ability to call in. The bottom line is an infraction may have occured no matter who called it or saw it. Leaver it up to the on-course officials to make the determination. And. from what I have seen first hand, many touring pros do not know simple rules. That is why you see so many break rules and/or call in rules officials for simple situations. Many playing partners also will not call out their buddy for breaking a rule.
