  1. I have been using prov1x for some time. I recently used a prov 1 and i was hitting my drives 15 to 20 yards further...does anyone understand how that could be as the x is said to be longer?????
  2. There are many more factors to consider. Prov 1 and x are incredible balls. The truth is compression is not as much a factor as it used to be. You might gain yardage with a lower compression but studies say about four yards lost or signed. The critical issue is workability around the greens where most of the ake is played. Also...swing speed changes with every club. Working around the green...say...100 yards out, you wouldn't be using a speed of 100 . It's a common mistake to only concentrate on driver distance as the lower compression alls may go a few rads longer but not good around the greens. Titlest would be out of business if they only produced balls for high swing speed I have played probably every ball over the years and I keep coming back to the pro v's. I have a slw swing speed and in testing other balls I don't seem to lse distance but the performance around the greens is premier. Again..the idea that slow swing speeds can't hit a tour ball is incorrect. Bridgestone commercials say we can't hit those balls with a slw swing speed..they want to promote their product and would love to get the pro v market. So..long winded....there's more to consider about your game. At best you use your driver maybe 12 times a round.....what about the rest? Good luck
  3. I recently saw a ball with 3 stripe alignment aids and the logo is a bit much and bright..I think there's an x in the logo..does anyone know what ball this is?
  4. I was looking for a ball for slower swing speeds and a few posts were talking about a ball that had too much in regards to alignment markings and the logo..had an X in the name.does anyone know what this ball is.? Thanks, Bobby Jones

Why is it that he feels he has to discuss Tiger during every interview. What do you think the chances are he can achieve anything close to Tiger. We all know what has happened and we know where his game is. Why do we need a newcomer to educate us..hijs lack of grace is amazing. He will have his day and we'll see how he handles playing with him. I think he should keep his opinions to himself and try to win golf tournaments...that will be the scale he will be judged on..not his opinion of other players.

I wasn't mocking him, just pointing out that saying that tiger and Phil are "done" isn't respecting their records. There's no question that Rory has game but saying anything negative about a fellow player isn't what golf is about. There's no doubt that it seems we have seen the best of Tiger but the new kids need to wrk hard to get close to those .

What's up with this kid shooting off his mouth about Phil and Tiger. There's no possibility that will get close to tiger and probably not even Phil. If he had an ounce of clews, like Fowler, who is a better player, he would STFU. Paul Casey shot his mouth off a few years ago and it cost him. Once Rory decides on a hair color he can concentrate on playing. He and Poulter should learn about being a gentleman golfer. This isn't college football.
