  1. Odyssey XG heel shaft 2 ball lined delivering today. Looks like my other putters will dwell in closet darkness, for a while anyway. Thanks for the feedback! Regards, Fred
  2. Hello Folks, I put reasonably well with the 2 ball putter. Now Odyssey gives us a choice, by producing one with a line through the two balls. My first thought its too much to think about during the set up. But then again maybe an advantage on short straight putts. No dealers in my area yet has one in stock I can try out. Can anyone share their experiences, or thoughts on the subject. I did here through the grapevine, several pros are swithing to the lined two ball. Thx, Fred
  3. I purchase on line used NXT in mint condition for $12.00. There is a rumor floating around that the new Top Flight D2 is comparable to the Pro V1. Probably hype, but for $15.00 they are worth playing a round or two with, IMO. Regards, Fred
  4. Hello Folks, I am a die hard Taylormade driver compulsive buyer. This year puchased the R7 Draw 10.5. Hit it too high. Then the Burner 9.5, very long but could not find the accuracy consistency needed to hit fairways on a regular basis. I blamed it on the 46 inch shaft. Although, more than likely it was the man swinging the club. Trade, trade, and now the Superquad 9.5 stiff and could not be happier. Where I set up my aim that's where the ball goes. I have never been real pleased with the Taylormade stock shafts, but apparently this one fits very well for my swing. My thanks to those that have posted on the Superquad, which along with my addiction influenced my decision to purchase . Kindest Regards, Fred
  5. From time to time I get into the same routine pushing my shots to the right. I believe it was Johnny Miller that says "CHASE THE BALL" Follow through finishing each shot toward the point of aim. Another issue I have is occasionly I get into the habit of holding on too long, not releasing the club, hands get out in front, therefore the face is open at impact. Fix= time at the range Tempo, Tempo, Tempo IMO. Finish each shot!! Fred
  6. Ping G2 4 degrees up
