  2. I am 6'6 so I length my clubs. My question is for the driver. I know that adding length will increase swing weight but how else does it change the specs for a graphite driver shaft. For example, if the shaft weight is 67 grams, adding 2 inches does what? I assume adds weight but is it just adding the weight of the extension? Thanks
  3. Great responses. I think it confirms my thought that it is ball position. I think on the course it get it even further forward thus resulting in a random top.
  4. Here is driver video
  5. I know, its the worst. I have made some pretty good pars :) I will take a video and get it on here soon.
  6. Ok, I know this may be obvious but its very frustrating considering I am a low single digit handicap but my one miss off the tee and with my 3 wood is a top shot. It rears its ugly head once every third or so round and sometimes happens more than once a round. I play the ball pretty far forward in my stance with the driver. My assumption is its too far forward. Do you think that's fair assumption? I will try and get a video loaded just don't have one on work computer.
  7. Clubs4cash or proclubs.com? Are they legit? Pay timely? etc Thanks
  8. Good thought. You may be one to it.
  9. Ok my misses are off the toe. My thought is I may be standing too far from ball. I am a 1 handicap so good player. Pretty consistent that my only miss is off the toe and with irons and driver. Thoughts?
  10. So my driver requires .335 tip and I took it to be re shafted and I see the specs on the shaft say its a .350 tip. How did that fit?
  11. I have an AJ 60 stiff shaft in my driver. It's splitting at head. It's done. Anyone know what the specs are on it? Does to 60 stand for 60 grams? Help. Best shaft I ever used in driver but their website is still running 2009 Labor Day sale.
  12. I am a weekend golfer with a 2.1 so no interest in swing change. I was thinking maybe something with my wedges so they dont dig as much. Maybe more bounce, etc.
  13. So my swing is steep, take big divots especially with wedges. Other than changing the angle of attack, is there anything I can do or should get with my equipment to help this? Thanks.
  14. Does anyone know where to buy a blank yardage book that Long uses for Tour courses?
  15. Check out www.sparegolf.com. Its brand new.
  16. No club repair expert out there?
  17. They are steel shafts. I was thinking of using these: http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_WBE60_A_cn_E_2555 Maybe the lighter the better just not sure.
  18. I need to lengthen some new irons and I see that there are now wood extenders. Any thoughts/insight on the best extender. I typically use graphite ones.
  19. Anyone have any experience with Artificial Turf And Putting Greens?
  20. I am building my own backyard putting green. Where is best place to buy the turf from? Any help or recommendations would be great. I did the search in the forum and I get lost in the forest so posting a new thread here. Also, for what it is worth I live in Orlando.
  21. Anyone ever build one? Any recommendations for DIY sites for this? I see people sell kits to build it but still seems like you could do it cheaper if build your own from scratch.
  22. My daughter wants to get a custom headcover of our dog? We found a website that has a bunch of breeds but ours is a unique breed. Was wondering if anyone knows of someone you can send photos and they make the headcover like they do the bobble heads.
  23. thats not a bad idea at all. I am tired of mis-reading putts on greens I play 40x times at least a year.
  24. I am looking to chart my club's greens. I am thinking of carrying a book like a yardage book but just of the greens. I looked at the office store for some type of notepad but they are bulky and too many pages. Anyone know of somewhere that makes or sells blank page type yardage books? Otherwise, I can make my own and just buy a cover. C
  25. I originally bought an Odyssey DART long putter but cut it down so it could be a belly putter for me. I am 6'5. Now that anchoring will be banned I cut it down more to use as a conventional putter. It feels super heavy. Any thoughts on whether this is a bad idea considering it was a long putter originally? Not sure if I should reshaft it to get weight right. I am not even sure it's a bad thing or not.
