  1. Summer time: Since it's in the 100's or higher Water, water and water. Then at the turn I'll get a Hot dog and gatoraide/poweraide. Once that is done I'm back to more water to get through. Winter time: Water/or Hot chocolate if it's cold, maybe a soda or gatoraide/poweraide and maybe some more water. At the turn a Hot dog and water. Toward the end and if I'm playing bad, I'll get a cold beer to wash away the hacks.
  2. My hands are in front of the club head. For instance, the ball is in the middle of my stance while my hands are aligned on my left(front) thigh. That seemed to really square up my Irons.
  3. I tried getting into the geek area of IT and IS, but never manged to get in after school. So I ended up at the City of Scottsdale in AZ. Currently I'm in the Water Treatment and Waste Water treatment maintenance dept. but have an interview in 3 day for Instrumentation Electrician of the same Treatment Plants. I control and maintain all the Water supply to all of Scottsdale's Golf courses.
  4. I was thinking this exact same thing. I think it still might be the the problem since your driver seems to be ok. Maybe it's still your alignment or grip at address?? I have the same issue and I correct it my using a bit more forward press just before I start my back swing.
  5. I had the same problem. What I did was, I align the back of my hand with the club face. So as I swing through I can judge the squareness of the club face with my left hand. Basically I do a pimp slap at the ball...lol.. Also what it has made me more consciouses of where the club face is and I've been able to hit it more consistently.
  6. Thanks!! That's what I wanted to know.
  7. I've been on the search for the perfect ball for me too. I started with Top flight until I used a Bridgstone (not sure which one) and really liked it. Since then I've used Nike mojo / juice, Titleist SoLo / ProV1/ProV1x, Pinnacle gold, Callaway HX-Hot / Big Bertha / warbird. I really like the Nike mojo and played with that for a month until I found some ProV's and have been playing with them ever since. But I'm due now and with the Price of Pro V's I want a good ball that isn't going to break my wallet if I lose a few. I too want to know how the new Top Flight D2 balls are? They have 3 different types though. Of course I probably want the green Feel ball. How much of a difference is the NXT series ball differ from the Pro V's??
  8. Me too. That's why I bought the R5 with Draw. I still sliced it. If you have a repeatable swing, then you can adjust it to help you do what you want. Is that because you hit it too high and need less spin?
  9. Mizuno MX-25's. With my limited golf history, these have been the best clubs for me. Very forgiving with a great feel.
  10. I've been using the Odyssey White steel 2 ball putter for 5 months and love it. I've dropped 10 puts a round since. With my handy cap, thats a huge help.
  11. I just started using Titleist 905R. Before that I've been using the Taylor Made R5 Draw w/ stiff flex but it had the flex tip, but I didn't like the flex tip.
