That's a good set of irons for a beginner. Anything with a wide soul usually has a lower center of gravity, makes it easy to get the ball up. I'm not a big Callaway guy, but they are perfect for beginners. Try to find something with a little offset to it.. Good Luck and Play Well

They say that if "you're not cheated you're not trying". I would like to think that saying excludes the game of golf and the majority of it's golfers. Let's be honest, if you really wanted to win a FOUR-MAN SCRAMBLE for your local charity it's not very hard; just fill out the entire scorecard at the first hole...lol Played in a charity event on Monday, we shot -19... Our team consisted of 4 single digit players and a mulligan package..lol.. We all played well, everything was going in. We are very competitive but at the same know how to have fun on the course, it evens itself out. We had decided to donate the prizes back to the charity, thinking that they could raffle them off. Come to find out that another team came in at -20.. The team was a 65 year old man (using persimmon woods), the local "bookmaker", town drunk and his teenage son....HAHAHAHAHAHAHA WHAT CAN YOU DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Has this happened to you
