  1. My humble experience is +5 at the wicked Gleneagles GC at McLaren Park, SF Trevino used to love this track...he's quite the legend there ...! Now, I'll throw some shit at the moon..lol Putting like kicking a football means the difference between a winning score & a torn up score card.. Check your grip...lol
  2. That sux...they do the same w/ most if not all.... free trial offers..it's buried in fine print & if you do not return product within 30 days they start sending you that stuff you thought was free at a premium price until you bow out.....they usually have ripped you good by then. I got trapped once and cried to sales and customer service but was so polite that they actually refunded my money....that's rare. Caveat Emptor................!
  3. tanks...visa's on it along w/ google & just love saying I reported these creeps to the FTC..... Some peeps ya just do not scam and get away with it....they don't belong on the internet to begin with, let alone targeting golfers...fore...!
  4. Warning….Stay away from a company that I fool heartedly stumbled upon while looking for a jumbo animal headcover…! I have used Daphne in the past and they are a respected company on Amazon, but they didn’t have a cover for a 460cc. I googled animal heasd covers and Dragongolfltd.com filled the entire Google search page. The rest is a nightmare. They claim to be in Colorado Springs but when I went to contact them there, all I saw was an over seas phone located somewhere in SE Asia. Theiir site reveals no domestic # nor any #…I had to research the company to even find the Colorado Springs scam front office/customer service. All contact is through their online form in which you submit your request and they auto reply w/ ”we’ll respond to your message within 48 hrs. Well, that’s the rub, they do not respond. They instantly charged my Visa for an item that was on back order…then they would not respond to where’s my item pleas thru their form. Finally, after a month, I get a reply thru hotmail, saying that the item will be now credited back to my card. Well, that’s the last thatI’ve heard from them. They just decided to keep the funds. Beware of the internet company that does not display a domestic phone on their site and has a customer service. I feel like a fool, since I’ve never had a problem before, similar to this. I guess Amazon tends to spoil us.
  5. Buy a new bag w/ lots of padded dividers...Ogio is my favorite! Basically, graphite shafted woods should have head covers that protect the shafts...& do not need tubes....! If you have graphite shafted Irons... you can just buy the light weight tubes, cut them to lenghth & fasten them (w/ nylon ties) in small clusters & insert them where needed in a new bag's padded dividers...! Hope this helped & Good luck _ the bag is important_ Check out Ogio Bags. It's a great feel to easily slide a club into & out of your bag & a drag when they get stuck, as we all know. PS I put an over sized putter grip years ago on my anser 2 & it really helps lock your wrists for a nice one piece stroke. Problem for me is that I lost feel of the club head & went back to a std pistol grip . I guess I could have weighted the head.....nah...!
  6. Jay_B.....simply think of a counterweight scale.... Ralph Maltby describes it: "The measurement of a golf club's weight about a fulcrum point which is established at a specified distance from the grip end of the club." In our terms ... 14'' from the grip end is the fulcrum..if the grip end and the shaft end were in perfect balance you would have no swingweight..ie. A0...the higher the swingweight indicates how much the clubhead to grip ratio is....! the greater the ratio..the higher the SW. Usually most men play in the "D" range & women in the "C" range. Therefore adding weight to the club end or removing weight from grip end increases swing weight & vice versa. Today the tendency is for lighter static weight & to keep whatever swing weight that you feel comfortable with, consistent throughout your set. The Driver & putter are the obvious exceptions. I prefer a setup that allows the shaft to load as much as I can handle on the downswing & release through ball impact. That setup is a science & an art for a seasoned professional club fitter to help you with enjoying...!
