  1. Carry 4 wedges and carry a 64 also.
  2. I agree with your post. This is it
  3. Rep came in the golf store I visit and I got to hit the forged 4 iron and 5 iron. I really liked them.
  4. All they can do is bark. My bud snap hooked one into the siding of a home on a golf course. The guy just looked up and looked back down. Now thats how you handle that. If he decided to come out I would of said the samething. As far as those signs saying the golfer is responsible that's just the trying to freak you out. It's the same as if a landlord has you sign a contract saying if there is owner neglect you can't sue him. It's a joke and won't hold up in court. Infact by the time they sue you it would of cost them more money than to replace it themselves.
  5. If you don't want your house to get hit by a golf ball don't build it on a golf course.
  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdKCD_Yq9o0 This one had me in tears.
  7. Okay I just recently rehauled my golf set getting new irons driver and a 3 hybrid. The only thing I didn't replace was the putter. I even got a new ping tour wedge 52/56 degrees. Well, I have spent a pretty penny and now I find myself short a 3 wood/4 wood. Is there that much difference in a 3/4 wood and a 3 hybrid? Or do you feel investing in a 3/4 wood is important for scoring? I hit the hybrid around 195-205. The hybrid is 21 degrees btw. Thanks for any feedback Cheers
  8. I think best Els can hope for is to distance himself from 4th place. Catching Phil and Woods is no realistic in my opinion.
  9. Hey thanks for the 411. Makes total sense! Cheers!
  10. My swing speed is around 89-93 and I have pretty much the same results. I think my carry on average was around 214 and my roll was around 237. I had around 2,200 spin rate on my ball.
  11. Yeah I am behind Calc also. Good point about Choi why isn't he there?
  12. Any golfers you feel will fair well on this course this week? 1 and 2 won't be there and it looks like Luke Donald and few others won't show, but overall the field looks strong. Any players you have in mind who might have a chance of winning this? I'm curious to see if the Jones kid has a chance of making his 7th straight cut. He has a nice game and like Johnny Miller says he has a great looking swing. I also am hoping Ernie can follow up a win with another strong performance. And of course would like to see Hunter Mahan do very well.
  13. At 6.90 and Stricker following at 6.66. You think he can continue his winning ways and maybe take a few non Tiger sanctions events?
  14. maybe 125 at the most. One of the weakest parts of my game
  15. I met Tom Watson at a golf tournement. He was a cool guy.
  16. I was looking for weight training movements to gain more endurance and strength. Any sites or information on how to achieve this? Thanks
  17. I was reading an article in Golf Magazine and one of the top instructors demonstrated the release. He mentioned having a body swing or more of an arms swing. He refered back to Phil Mickelson for the arms swing and Nick Faldo for a body/torso swing. I got to thinking about it and I am torso all the way. My arms hardly move at all and the club head stays on the same plane the whole time (usually), until I come back through the swing. Inside square inside. I was just wondering what you all use. Are you more arms or strictly torso? I was curious what our low and high handicap golfers use. Im a 17 and use this torso swing and I've been dropping strokes quite a bit. I was more arms before and not being able to stay consistent at all. Sometimes I find myself reverting back to the old days, but usually if I take some practice swings at home daily it seems to really ingrain that full body turn and translates to practice and the course.
  18. I'd love it! He is well liked and that could really help the morale of the team.
  19. 203,000 pay day not to shabby! He gives us light hitters hope all over the world. Well he still hits it 260+ and I'm around 230
  20. I think anything lower than 3,000 is pretty decent. I had a few in the lower 2,000's and he told me those balls would be knuckling because they where hit so straight. Of course I have a swing speed for 90 with driver which is pretty weak. My launch angle was 11.1 with the driver I was using.
  21. Doesn't mean he can't win another one ( Cabrera ) I doubt Stricker wins a major. In his 18 year career he has 11 PGA wins I believe. He will be lucky to win a tournament.
  22. I really came away impressed with Henrik Stenson. Leonard played well so did Cink. Who do you feel will make large strides this year in earnings and rankings? Two guys I like both sponsered by Ping Mahan and Cabrera. Obviously they both have names, but I think they can continue this year maybe one winning a major?
  23. 4 up after 18. Cink just choked on the 18th hole putt. I think Tiger finishes this off by the 9th.
  24. I agree thats what turned me onto to him. I believe he was a Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket. I think his distance will keep him from being a top notch guy, but he has some nice ball striking at times and really has a nice short game.
  25. Thanks a lot for all the great input. I appreciate you all taking times out of your busy lives to respond. Regardless of how many strokes you saved in certain areas, everybody is in agreement that preparation and fitted equipment will help with strokes off of your game.
