Here is the info form Aldila: The Gamer Series consist of three unique shaft models, each designed to optimize launch angle and spin, for woods hybrid and irons and the performance demands of each unique club type. Versatility is also another key design characteristic of the Gamer Series of shafts. The New Gamer shafts are designed with adequate parallel sections in both shafts, tip and butt to accommodate a wide range of tip and butt trimming options, while maintaining hosel fit and grip size. 2. I have been playing the Hogan "The Hawk" ball lately. Golfsmith had them on closeout recently for only $15/dozen for a 3 piece Urethane cover ball. Very good ball, can get good distance, spin and its durable.
  3. I have been using a Never Compromise Voodoo Daddy that I bought on sale last year for $80. I really like it. The line on the back really seems to help me line up putts. I had been using and old Ping PAL 4, but the new putter seems much easier to line up and I like the heavy stable feel, especially on longer putts.
