  2. Footjoy Raingrips, all year round, great in winter, don't get "sweaty" in summer, use to use leathers but wouldn't go back now
  3. AP-2 712s to replace my 708s and a 910 D3
  4. Hi all, for me, having played both, I prefer the Titleists as I found that the Penta cut up a lot quicker than the V1s.
  5. Hi all, Another driver ........has the Taylormade website got a poll on "WHAT COLOUR WOULD YOU LIKE YOUR BRAND NEW MODEL TAYLORMADE DRIVER THIS MONTH" As for the original question, my preferrence is for the Titleist, however you have to try before you buy. Cheers, Jim
  6. Hi, just regripped with the Golf Pride Tour Velvet BCT grips on my AP-2s, the previous one were the Multi Compound which were very good wearing but I decided on the BCTs because they really feel fantastic (much better than the previous ones). Next will be the woods.....very soon Cheers Jim
  7. At least the term "yank" is considerably more polite than the expletives Kiwis use when talking about Australians............and vice versa
  8. Would have to be Titliest.....ooops sorry they already are
  9. Police, nah the Army should be called in, why use a baton when you can use a sledgehammer
  10. Rifles (1 shotgun) only, Winchester Model 53 44/40, Model 70 .308, Model 1200 12ga, BSA .303 Brit (sport conversion of a WW-11 P-14), Mk-III, IV, and V (Carbine) Lee Enfield SMLEs
  11. Had the same problem (wristy) and went to the same model Heavy Putter, which I used for about a year. Going back to the mallet shape (that I prefer for alignment) wasn't a worry, A couple of rounds (can't be bothered practising) was all I needed to adapt. The heavy putter certainly was a good move for a while, and will probably need to come back into the bag sometime in the future.
  12. Aldila RIP Reg in the 910D2 and an Aldila ProtoVS Reg in the 909D2
  13. Hi, use to think the same thing, having gotten use to the series of quakes going on it's probably got a fair chance of happening...........hopefully during the club champ defense later this year
  14. If you get a chance, try the Titleist 910F, I got one when they were released earlier in the year and are very impressed, it's by far the best fairway wood (for me) that I've tried/owned.
  15. Hi all, I'm from Christchurch in NZ, and a member of the Christchurch Golf Club, http://christchurchgolf.co.nz on the club site you'll see the damage from the recent earthquakes to the club room, fortunately the course wasn't too affected. Cheers, Jim
