I played at the Homestead last weekend and didn't wear shoes at all. I was told several times that Sam Snead didn't wear shoes either. When I don't wear shoes I tend to not overswing. I've only been playing regularly for a year and overswinging is my biggest swing defect, especially with driver. I will check this blog for the best shoes to buy when the weather gets colder. I carry e-comforts with me in case someone feels that I am breaching golf etiquette by playing barefoot.

My course in Richmond is Independence and is the home of the Virginia State Golf Association.

I represent a line of bar mixes that includes Patrick Henry's Revolutionary Bloody Mary mixes and Poe's Phantastic Sour mix.

I use a 10.5 degree Titleist 905R w/ a YS-6* regular shaft and it puts me 250 yards out on a fairly consistent basis.

I have recently purchased and now use a Scotty Cameron RED X putter w/ red baby T grip and a 33 inch shaft length. I enjoy it immensely.

I swing Callaway X-14's (3-PW) bought used w/o trying four years ago. I played about three times a year until I decided to try and get better at golf in the Spring/Summer of '06. Currently I hit my 5 iron 175 w/ alot of loft. Although it is not technically an iron, I have a new Callaway 2x hybrid that replaces my 2 iron because i was so inconsistent/bad at hitting that on the course. I have not yet miss hit with the hybrid while playing a round so I hit it w/ confidence
