  6. I adjust/repair/build clubs for Country Clubs around here and "Even" the club pros have me adjust there free OEM irons stronger..... I assume to impress someone.

  11. I have 20*, 25*, 35* Maltby utility heads that I shafted up the same with steel @ 37" and has really helped me at my age (of which) is senior for sure :-)

  17. I want to help a friend replace the steel shafts in his eye 2 irons to fiber, I have a nice set of Mercury performance plus shafts to use, other than me reaming out the hosels to .370 == Do you have any advice for me ??

  19. Ok, grips on and there real close, maybe additional 1/2 t0 1 gr would have got it dead on. Thanks again !!
  20. I NOW have a Ralph Maltby swing weight scale, Ed Mitchell 4 gr weights, there needle grip remover and there iron corks & epoxy and the epoxy is drying right now. As soon as it's dry, i'll re-install the grips and see where the SW is at. Many Thanks for your on going advice WUTiger
  21. I've found thru being able to try lot's of OEM demo's that most all of the MFG's have the driver core at it's limit so it's the look and sound that one seem to go for. PS: the shaft is the answer.
  22. I have a GW swing weight scale and a 1/4" roll of lead, I kept tapping different lengths of lead roll to the hosel of the C6 4 iron and to get it to C8 it took 10 gr. Does this sound right?

  24. I have a set of Callaway Z22 irons in steel (project 6) shafts. My favorites are the C8 swing weight clubs 3-6-8-9 and the rest of them are c6, what can I do to get them (meaning the C6 clubs) to C8 ? Shorten them at the butt ?
