Shot 112 today at the same course I shot a 107(I think) at last week. I was really disappointed with my performance as I had believed I could break 100 this time out. I was just taking my eye off the ball pretty much every time I think. Oh well, little more range time this week and I should be in better shape. On the bright side, I lost less balls this time!

Those are awesome! I don't know that I could bring myself to spend that much on pants i'd wear once a week at the most but if I had the money I would love some!

Played Northern Hills here in San Antonio today. Shot a 107 lol and only lost 3 balls. I had my fair share of double digit stroke holes, but made par on one hole and it was the best feeling. My drives were pretty rough, but chipping from ~30 yards or so was spot on and I was really surprised and pleased with my chipping. Best part of it was that we had an 8am tee time and we were done by 12. Sunday is really the only day my fiancé and I spend any time together and we usually don't get together until noon anyway so she approves of Sunday golf so far :-D

My dad is the angry golfer. I'm at the range at least 2-3 times a week and he'll be there about half the time with me. My fiancé goes a lot to spend time with us, and gets the biggest kick out of watching him get mad. He will hit one good, get a little excited then hit a few terribly, go sit down for 5 min. then repeat. I'm playing with him for the first time in about 6 years on Sunday and am a little nervous about it.

About a year ago I decided to pick the game up again and I was looking at some complete sets. My father bought me a set of Tommy Armours for my birthday and I love them. They are by no means the best clubs, but I really enjoy them. I agree completely. I really enjoyed the message the movie portrays. You need to go in knowing the acting is going to be terrible but there's something deeper than that. If you liked the movie I think you'll love the book.

How's it goin y'all. My name's Drew and I'm 22 and from San Antonio, Tx. I just recently got back into the golf game after a few years away from it. My dad bought me a set of clubs when I was about 14, I played with them a couple times then couldn't stand the game. My fiancé drug me to the Texas Open here this past year and I have since been a little obsessed with it. My dad bought me another set of clubs(this time if I didn't play a lot I'd be paying him back) for my birthday and I'm out at the range every minute I get. Haven't been on a course yet only because my dad and I can't seem to get our schedules to line up but I'll be out there ASAP. I'm a huge fan of forums(I come from a couple mustang forums) and the wealth of information that can be found here. Thanks for havin me on The Sand Trap.
