Another vote for Cobra - very solid stuff, love my S9's. While I hit Taylor drivers, others in the family have Cobra drivers and fairway woods and love them. One of the 'can't go wrong' brands out there, IMO.

Odyssey White Hot XG 2-Ball SRT

I've got the 2-Ball White Hot XG 2-ball and really like it. Very solid, and good for the long putts when you have to. I find the visual alignment very helpful, and wont be going back to my blade putter anytime soon. I tried the Scotty Cameron Futura and liked that as well, though it has much left 'heft' than the Oddyssey. -
Love my Cobra S9's - easy to hit, forgiving, and get airborne like crazy (sometimes too much in the wind). I'd like to try the Taylor Burners when they come out, though I doubt I'll be switching anytime in the near future.

+1 for the Cobra Baffler - mine is a 20 degree, and it's both easy to hit and reasonably priced. I get about 200 yards out of mine. I've heard great things about the Bobby Jones as well but have never tried it.

I have one and wear it regulalry - I like it but don't believe there is any magic, and little if any science going on here.
