  2. I've been working on keeping my lower body quiet through my swing, and when I do it right, it seems to be one of the biggest factors for me to play well. Imagining holding a basketball between my knees and not allowing them to wobble around has done wonders for my ball contact and sending the ball where I want it to go. Just wanted to share what is working for me right now.
  3. Tristan, I am currently near Pasadena, but moving to San Diego in February. Torrey Pines, here I come!
  4. B-Con, yes! I feel fortunate to be able to play in CA nearly all winter. The problem is finding the time and money to get as good as I want to be! Keep chippin away....
  5. I tend to play much better and swing much better when I don't have all of these kinds of thoughts bouncing around in my head. I try to focus on one part of the swing per swing, and then work on that one aspect for five strokes and see what kinds of differences I can make. Basically I try to keep it as simple as possible. The more I think, the worse I play. This thread does have some really interesting things to think about though...
  6. The only thing I don't like about 2 wheel pull carts is that they aren't that stable. The one I have, and it's a cheap-o, has dumped my bag all over the fairway more than once just from hitting a bump, and any kind of incline is not a good place to leave it. I'm hoping the three wheel push variety will solve all that.
  7. Hey guys, new to the forum, and just wanted to say that there is some great information here. I try to play a couple of times a week when the funds permit, and have really improved my game over the last year. I've gone from sucking really bad to just sucking, but I keep coming back because I usually have enough good shots per round to keep me hooked! It's really an amazing game, and it's amazing how a little diligence and regular play can help you improve! I look forward to learning new stuff and meeting some new people! Best Regards, Skyykeeper
  8. I am considering the Clicgear 3.0. I have a cheapo pull cart that I use now, and for me it's way better than carrying, as far as my back and swing go. I think it's good for my game when I still have a good swing going into 15. Those last holes seem to be where I drop the most strokes, and even the pull cart I have now has helped lessen my fatigue level...
