Hope this is useful: Used to game A2OS until I demo'd A7OS. Not a marginal improvement across the board in performance, sound, feedback. A quantum improvement. Maybe the best irons in my 30 years of obsession with golf equipment. So much so, that after I bought the set in graphite. I decided I wanted my backup to be the same set in steel.
There is a bewildering amount of equipment aimed at the mid-handicapper. Every major brand has a shortcoming, IMHO. MIzuno's steel feel harsh when missed out toward the toe. Callaways lack responsiveness. Ditto Cobra, Cleveland. Pings are no longer made by engineers. They are made by a marketing company. Their best work is behind them. Example: The A705s are light years better than G15 and Rapture V2.
These sticks made the gold category two years' running in Golf Digest. The publication does not have a monopoly on wisdom but you can get an idea of what their testers discovered with these irons.
Good luck.
