  1. I have always liked ping drivers. I currently swing the G15. Very forgiving
  2. I can figure out where exactly my uncle got the package. But the package we had was $450 a person, and there were 4 people. That price included a 3 bedroom house a block from the beach for a week, 5 rounds of golf. Free breakfest and lunch everyday along with several free drinks. So ours was very reasonable as in price. Of the price per person also factored in the amount of gas to drive from and back to ohio. Let me see if i can get some details for you.

  5. Every year my uncles and I go to Myrtle for our annual golf trip. Last year we Played all the legends courses. They are Heathland, Moorland, Parkland, Heritage and Oyster Bay. They were all very nice courses. As shooter was saying, you can get some great packages. We played 6 rounds of golf in 3 days. We got free breakfest and lunch at the course along with 2 drink tickets per course. If you are planning on playing multiple rounds a day. Heathland, Moorland and Parkland are all together, and use the same club house (which is nice so your not running around to much between rounds). So my suggestion would be any of the legends courses, each course is different from the other, so its not like playing the same course over and over.
  6. I recently got a pair of these for $54 at golf smith. Great deal considering they are going for $105 online. Now the point of this post. I live in Ohio and it is December. So I have yet to wear them on the course. So I would like some feed back on these shoes. Are they a good buy?
  7. Any thoughts on these? I know they stopped making them, but got a good deal off ebay.
  8. Thanks for all the great feed back everyone. When I decide to get the set, I will more than likely get them from golf smith. Yes you can find them cheaper on ebay. But I have had some bad experiences when dealing with ebay sellers. I am also looking to get fit for the irons I choose, and should get a better deal if I purchase the clubs are the store. I like all the suggestions that I have reveived, but would like to keep the price around $500. Right now I could get burners for $399 and s3's for $499. So that is where I am at the moment. Thanks again for all the help....... In the future I would like to post a clip of my swing and get some opinions on what I could approve on.
  9. Thanks for the reply guys. Im getting a little closer to a decision. But but fully decided yet. The Clevelands are nice clubs, I really like the fact that they have the laser milled faces for the added spin. But I like the forgiveness of the burners. Anyone have an opinion on the cobra s3's?
  10. Hello every one. This is my first post, so any help would be appreciated. I am currently a 16 handicap. My goal for the up coming year is to drop it down to at least a 12. Lower would be great but would also take 14. I currently use Nickent 3dx hybrid irons. I have had them for several years. The irons are ok, but have graphite shafts, which I never got use to hitting. So I am in the market for new irons with steel shafts. I am looking at two different sets at the moment. The Taylormade burner 1.0, and the Cobra S3's. They are both considered game improvement irons, the where my current set is SGI irons. So I am asking if anyone has a preference to either club and why. I know everyone is different. but I would like other people views before I go and spend the money for a new set. Thanks
