  2. I am sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find it using search. Where is the golf course and what hole is pictured in the golf goals poster? Thank You .
  3. Hi, I just use a fishing rod case. It's very sturdy and easily survived trips to Asia from Florida. Not to mention, it's extremely compact. Goes inside the passenger compartment of a cab without any problem. It's the Plano Airliner Telescoping Rod Case. $65 at Bass Pro shops. I posted in a previous thread with pictures about exactly the same thing. http://thesandtrap.com/t/65981/traveling-with-your-clubs-suggestions-welcome#post_827871
  4. I have the Last Bag with the stiff arm. Travelling from Florida to California, Hawaii, Denver was no problems except... a big bulky bag to carry. Car rentals have to be minivans or SUV. This is not a problem in the U.S... So I streamlined. This setup was easy, light (16 pounds). It Survived trips to Asia without any problem. The setup: 1) Plano Airliner Telescoping Rod Case. $65 at Bass Pro shops. 2) Adjustable driver. (You need to be able to take off the head) I carried 12 clubs with ease. (7 irons, 1 wood, 1 driver, 2 hybrids, putter.) In the included picture, all my hybrids and woods have the heads removed. However, I have also packed it with just the driver's head removed, and the hybrids and wood head stayed attached. The case is just one notch longer. I put some bolts on the case to attach a strap to make easier to take it around. You just have to pack a sunday bag. The Sunday bag, club heads, head covers goes into the normal luggage. This package sits in the floor of a cab or in a trunk easily. The best way to travel with clubs for me.
  5. The best tool I've found is the corn pick. They come in sets. Here's what I use: The ones above are from williams-sonoma. You can get them from Target, Walmart, Supermarkets... Here's one that looks nifty: from Boston Warehouse, on Amazon. Just thinking out of the box :)
  6. I've been lurking here for the better part of a year but your post motivated me to register and reply. First of all, I FEEL YOUR PAIN. :) I have lost my swing on many occasions. It is so frustrating... Makes a grown man wants to cry... Until I realized I am not good enough, and do not play enough golf to get angry. I also 'found' the swing again each time I lost it. This is what I learned through those process. When I lost the swing, I really never had it. I may have had one or two pieces of the swing, and by dumb luck, grooved into enough of the missing pieces by swinging one club over and over again on the range. But I had no idea which pieces I had, which one I stumbled on to. It's hard to bring dumb luck with you to the range/course every day. Each time I found the swing again, I found another piece of the swing that I did not have a handle on before. It also takes less time to find the 'lost swing' each time I lost it. The swing that I 'found' again, has always been better than the one I 'lost.' I also changed my range sessions. I used to swing one club for a while, switch to another club for a pile of balls, and so on.... After enough bad shots, you could adjust.... But you only get one shot on the course... Now, on the range, (for me, your mileage may vary,) I do not swing one club over and over again. I swing a long club, 3i/2H (not good enough to game a driver yet) at a target, then switch to a mid iron/short iron at a target, then switch to a wedge at a target. Enjoy the game. Good luck.
