broke 90 for the first time since high school (13 years ago). par 72. 42/43. putter killed me on the back. had 4, 3 putts. hit driver twice. 3 or 4 iron off the tee the rest of the day. FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm hitting my PW 125 and my 56 degree about 90. I would like to fill the gap rather than have to play 3/4 PW. I've never bought a wedge. Heard alot of good things about CG and titleist vocky. Know nothing about bounce. i'd like to find a club to put me in the 110 yd area. currently swinging S300 shafts.

i have a 2012 Honda insight EX and i can fit 2 stand bags easily in my trunk. I do have to take my driver out and put them in separately because i have to angle it to get it in. you should check out the Insight. Not as gay as a prius. Cheaper. 2mpg less than a prius. Check out fuelly.com for the gas specs.

i just picked up a used Taylormade Superfast 2.0 and i'm liking it alot so far. under 100.00.

Yesterday, new shirt and shoes. Today, hit a few balls on the computer @ the store. Swing speed was consistently in the 102-107mph range. I walked out with a used TM Superfast 2.0 9.5degree. Traded my superfast 10.5 which i haven't been able to hit since i bought it.

Shot a 93 saturday. Couldnt hit my driver. I knew i was having problems with my driver going in but still hit it like an idiot. Had 7 pars. Putting was very good IMO. Chipping was good. Fell apart on 3 holes. had a 6 on 2 par 3's and a 9 on a par 5 (hardest hole on the course). Overall, i still feel good about the way i played minus the driver. Just picked up a white ice #1 putter in new condition from a yard sale for 5.00. i love it. I also started using the line on the ball to line up my puts and it made a world of difference. I dont even look at the hole really. only thing i have to focus on is speed. I have also been working on lining up my shots. Been picking out a mark a couple feet in front of the ball and it has helped tremendously. I have also developed a routine which has helped alot. prolly hit the range today. i love this game!

People who take mulligans. I dont mind taking 1 mulligan on the first tee box, but that's it. People who take "gimmies". Put the ball in friggin' the hole. People who move their ball more than a club head away from its position. I dont mind LCP, but if you are behind a tree, suck it up. Basically, cheaters piss me off. Especially when they talk about beating you by 5 strokes the following week.

I am re gripping my irons for the first time and have a couple questions. 1st. When i removed the old grips (golf pride tour velvet wrap) i noticed the size was 58. also, there was 3-4 layers of tape. I bought these clubs, mizuno t zoid, from a friend a few years back. I was comfortable with the grips. my middle and ring fingers touched comfortably. My question is: I just bought some standard size golf pride new decade grips and i am wondering what the diameter difference will be when i put them on with 1 layer of tape? I did remove the old tape. 2nd question: I ordered a kit off ebay to re grip my clubs and the tape is 9" long. Dont think that is going to cover the entire length of the grips. Will this be ok? I've been lurking here for a while and am glad i finally joined. Lots of great information.
