  1. If you make enough noise surely someone would surely believe it. Screaming guy on the 16th, I'd sign the card ;)
  2. If you know what you want, ebay is good, otherwise I agree with not using ebay or craigslist or anything that you can't test. If you do go the ebay route, buy used or new from a real person or golf reseller and nothing out of the country. Check the feedback and how long they have been a member. If they have 100% or near and have been a member for a long time, they're probably ok. I've bought a bunch or clubs on ebay for myself and as gifts and have never gotten a fake.
  3. I'll check them out. I did find several 320 and 360 Taylormade drivers on ebay for about $20, so I may just get one of those and run up to golfsmith for a new shaft and grip. I can get it correctly fitted at the same time which seems the most reasonable path.
  4. I've used/demoed new Cleveland launchers, the Nike square thing, a ping, a new Callaway, and a few others. I can hit them, but the feel of swinging a huge blob of metal just doesn't work. I may try custom fitting, as this could definitely help me rule out fitment issues. I may just be picky here since this is more of feel issue than anything else, but I like a club that feels good to swing.
  5. From what I understand, the Niners had almost zero salary cap space so they weren't really in contention. Even though I'm a Colorado native and long time Broncos fan, I'm not sure why he didn't go with the Titans. The verdict is still out for me on whether he's worth the money. That much money can go a long way with other positions. If he's truly healthy, they should be a solid contender immediately. I was personally getting really sick of reading Tebow in every sports article for the past 6 months. Not sure if that's going to change though.
  6. I completely agree, but I can see the appeal in not wanting to join up. I've been grouped with everything from first timers to guys trying to sell me xanax on nice private courses... I mean no disrespect to first time golfers, there's a major learning curve to this game, but it makes for an awkward game on a really busy day with someone you don't know. I do think it's obligatory to join up if requested regardless of how much a person wants to play alone. However, I don't think there's any excuse for lobbing a drive over someone. That sort of person shouldn't be allowed on any course. That's egregiously disrespectful, not to mention, taking a drive to the head is pretty much a death shot.
  7. I'll take a look at some of the older models. I guess it's just me because there's pretty much zero new drivers that I can find under 450cc. Does anyone know if the 360XD was the last Taylomade 360cc driver?
  8. I currently drive with an older Taylor 3 wood. I still hit around 275 off the tee, but I'm looking for a driver with a smaller head like a 3 wood. I can hit a driver well, but I really don't like swinging a 460cc (brick on a stick ) driver. I like a less resistant faster swing that I cannot get with a 460cc driver. Does anyone still make 360'ish drivers in the 9 - 10 degree range? Have always like Taylor drivers, ever since the original Burner Bubble's came out. Seems like all the shops only have extremely large headed drivers nowadays.
