  2. Just my two cents for whats its worth. I hate the fact that some courses don't allow walking. I can definitely understand why they don't allow it on peek times. My local course only allows it after 4 pm and you can't on the weekend. However, if you are a member ( I just found this out), you can walk anytime you want. It has been my experience that any time there was a walker behind me, they are always on my tail. One more thing, I enjoy walking the course mainly because it gives me exercise and I seem to concentrate and play better.

  4. Wow, just found out my home course doesn't allow you to walk until after 4 pm unless your a member. Kind of feel like an idiot considering I just shelled out some $$ on a push cart. I've always seen people walking the course. I just didn't realize they were members....... Is this pretty much the norm? Anyone know of any that do allow walking? Seems like St Andrew's does in Douglasville. If any locals know of a course that does, please chime in :]
  5. WOW. Crushed doesn't even begin to describe those shots!
  6. haha Yes, I am very biased! I love Phil as well :]
  7. I have a friend thats always asking me to come play Cobblestone, I need to get up there.
  8. yes!, its mostly a blind shot depending on your drive. If you lay up you can see the green.
  9. I , too, am a lefty who played baseball for years. I find most of my "baseball" swing comes into play on drives. Seems I tend to open my hips too quick, probably because of over-swinging.
  10. If you are ever in the Carrollton/west ga area, i'd recommend The Lion and/or Oak Mtn Golf Club. Both are the best in the area that are public. The lion has challenging greens!

  12. Also, I got this nickname when I first started golfing. Always at the beach and in the woods! Unfortunately, it was my golf ball :[ I've improved greatly over those days, I'm just terribly inconsistent.
  13. I shoot around the high 90s low 100s. So, I feel your pain. Have you read the thread on here about sliding the hips? It has like 25 pages, I read the entire thread today, its the reason I joined the forum. I have yet to try and implement the swing thought, but I am chomping at the bit!
  14. haha, I know it doesn't. Its just I always have to decipher tips that I read or videos that I watch. Everything is backwards!
