  2. Yes, you can adjust the loft in .75 increments to 1.5 degrees in either direction, tops. The white makes zero difference. It is really is a sweet looking club.
  3. Raised the loft from 9 to 9.75. The difference was incredible. Didn't slice once!
  4. Shot a 44 on the front nine. Added a little loft to my RBZ. Was hitting it at 9, went up a notch to about 9.75. For the first time since picking the game up again two months ago, I felt comfy driving off the tee. Grabbed three pars, all of which were missed birdie putts from anywhere from 10-15 feet. We have a par-3 island hole which I suffered what can only be described as a meltdown, and another par-3 that I found the sand in a very real way. Had it not been for those two holes, I'm shooting better than bogey golf, which where I want to be for these first couple months back. In other news, I need a gold buddy that isn't tired after nine. I need to go ahead and break 90 so I can get started on breaking 85.
  5. That's interesting about the Ping loft inconsistency. Time to adjust the loft to 10 on the RBZ and see what happens at the range.
  6. No one has had any slicing issues with the RBZ Driver?
  7. I used to have a Ping V2 Rapture but I traded it to my buddy for his brand new Taylormade Rocketballz Tour. He said the white color really distracted him and I jumped at the chance to trade my three-year-old club to him for a brand new driver with an adjustable head and newer technology. Both clubs are 9 degrees of loft. I took the RBZ to the range before I agreed to the trade and saw the difference immediately. Longer drives with the RBZ for sure. Made the trade that day. Ever since, it's been boom or bust. Sometimes I'll hit it 240, sometimes closer to 270 and then there are the 300 yarders that pop up once or twice a round. But the complaint here is it's boom or bust. What I just mentioned is the boom. The bust is that this club brings me to slice maybe 40% of the time. I wasn't getting the distance with my Ping that I am with the RBZ, but I very rarely sliced with the Ping. What gives? Anyone have any insight or a similar experience?
  8. Anyone play those plastic tees with the three-pronged ball holder? I just bought a package of them. A few concerns: Do they hinder ball flight? And does anyone else notice they aren't the easiest to pierce the ground with?
  9. I wish I could hit off grass more, but the course I usually play at is mostly mats. And when it is grass, it's not in the best condition.
  10. Assuming I'm hitting the range before a round, I like to play out the first 4-5 holes until I get comfortable with my strategy going forward. I find this not only helps me warm up; it really settles me down on the first couple tees.
  11. Paid about $100 to play 18 in Turlock, CA. Not worth it in my opinion.
  12. Yes, I did get the PM!
  13. I'm a pretty good wedge player. I really like using all of them, and they are easily my favorite clubs. Currently I carry a RBZ driver and 3 wood, 3-hybrid, 4-PW, 52, 56, 60 wedges, and a putter. I was concerned that not carrying a 5-wood may be troublesome, although so far it hasn't been an issue.
  14. 47 on the front nine... Personal best is 42. Had a quad bogey because of the water and sand. Gotta start limiting the mistakes and begin to string together some good holes on a regular basis. Missed 3 birdie puts from the 10-12 foot range. That can't happen.
  15. Hi. I'm about a 20 handicapper and ever since getting back into golf a few months ago, I've carried 4 wedges (46 degrees, 52, 56, 60). Even though I only play twice a week, I like to keep only the 14 allowed clubs in my bag. Am I wasting a spot with the four wedges?
  16. Oops. Disregard my signature question.
  17. Just joined after not playing golf for three years. Looking to get back into it in a big way. Hope to gain a lot of knowledge and pass it on just the same. PS: How do you make a signature with the logos describing your clubs in your bag?
