Indygolfer

It's a pretty easy course. A 9-hole track that measures 2836 yards with a slope of 95. The par fives are both reachable in two measuring 460 and 420. I shot 37 on the front and got hot on the back with three birds and no bogeys. It was still pretty cool though, my first round under par. I have shot 72 at that course 3 times with one of them coming in the club championship last year. 77 is my best score on any other course.

My goal this year was to move into single numbers with my handicap. I joined a new golf course that was 18 holes and a little more difficult(128 slope from the blues) plus got new clubs. My score reposted while I was on vacation last week and it was a 9.5:) That doesn't take into account a couple of other low scores including a 2 under 70. My next goal is to get under 5 by next year at this time.

I use Mizuno MX-23's. R300 shafts.

I'm not currently carrying one. I've got a 2-iron hybrid but I'm looking into adding a 3-wood. I've looked at the Nike T-60, Cleveland launcher, TM R7, and Callaway X. I'm also interested in suggestions.

I'm a teacher and golf coach. Didn't play until 3 years ago and now I'm hooked.
