Okay, been working hard, making progress. I joined Evolvr recently and got my first critique. Great tips so far! Mostly focused on my stance at address, and taking my hands inside on the backswing. Also getting my right forearm straighter at the top of my backswing.
I also had some breakthroughs on my own. I've been struggling with an extremely bad push slice with my woods and longer irons. Couldn't figure out what was causing it and how to stop it. Finally figured out that I was rotating my left forearm and pronating my left wrist during my backswing. This was opening up the clubface and I was not getting the clubface square by impact. I now take a fairly strong grip, and make sure to not rotate my left forearm at all during backswing. Magic! The push slice is gone.
Anyways, I'm going to keep uploading videos as I go through the evolvr lessons to document my progress.
