  1. Putting for sure. and you dont need blades to hit the trajectory they do.
  2. Its more related to how you hit the ball and at what angle.
  3. all carry? Sounds like the ball is rolling up the face. New MOI drivers need to be hit with an ascending blow, move the ball to the inside of your lead foot.

    Grrrrrrr

Heres a tip, try taking anger management if the internet really gets you upset.
  5. I had the same question not too long ago. I ended up with the Ping i5's http://thesandtrap.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9852
  6. I was a big fan of Wicked Stick. Probably because I could drive the green on about 3 or 4 par 4's
  7. Well I went to a Golfers Warehouse to test out all the pings to find out what dot and length would work best for me. Ended up being the green dots with standard length. So in my bad now is a set of Ping i5's green dots. I can just just from setting up with them they are going to work nice with my swing. Cant wait to hit them off some grass. Quick sidenote was that my club head speed with the driver was a consistent 121. I over-swung once and pulled a 123 and the driver made the loudest ping noise that my ears were ringing. Thanks for all the suggestions guys.
  8. Thanks for all the replies everyone. I decided to go get fitted this Sunday and see what ends up there. Ill update afterwards...for some reason I see a new set of i10's ending up in my bag.
  9. I think you're right, its more of an issue of turning my hands over too much at impact. Thanks for the advice.
  10. When I miss I hook the ball with my longer irons.
  11. So best case scenario would be to get the black dots and just get them adjusted? Theres a place within 10 miles that is on the Ping site as a club fitter.
  12. I just went through their site and did the breakdown to what color dot I should go with. It ended up suggesting White Dots. The current set I use is standard and it contacts the ground from 1/4" off center towards the heel all the way through the toe. This seems like a drastic lie change from standard...what are your takes? Is the chart pretty spot on? Im 6'2'' and wrist to floor is 36.75
  13. I really like this idea. I played sports throughout college and high school and I consider myself super competitive. I meant I played 5-8 rounds in prior years. This year I plan to play at the very least once a week. I imagine you're leaning towards a blade set, can you recommend any?
  14. Funny you mention that, from the quick research I was looking at the x18's. Im also trying to enter the at minimum once a week golfer realm now that Im done with school.
  15. Well now that I have the newbie status away I can make the post I came for. Well, I usually play a max of 5-8 rounds a year and shooting best rounds in high 80's. Im currently using 10 year old Pinnacle irons which I can only imagine how much they hold me back. I am 6'2'' 205 and my swing generates a lot of club head speed. The irons I have now hit straight but when Im off the slightest they aren't very forgiving. I hope I dont come off as a hack, but the people Im paired up with say I have potential but the 100 yard and in game needs improvement. Im looking to buy new/used in the 400 range. I plan on playing every weekend and entering some amateur local tournaments to throw myself into the fire with. I appreciate any suggestions.
  16. big fan of The Office
  17. I love these Celts...I can remember the days of the old Garden watching Bird play as a kid. I haven't been this excited about basketball since.
