shot a 105 then a 98 @ Sandy Ridge Country Club not the greatest day but I played with my Dad and my Son ......3 generations on the course today weather in the 80's good times my Dad is 75 my Son is 8 and I'm 40 it was a great day

I'm new to the forum so I thought I would start out by asking a doozie. I just started playing golf again after about 5 years off. I have 7 year old son that is in love with golf ..... I know lucky me. Here is my question. He is tall for his age as well as stout. He has a junoir set of clubs for 9-11 year olds.......but I thought about getting a set of Ping Eye 2 gold dot and having them reshafted to fit him. I'm looking on ebay and have found some but just don't know if this is overkill to say the least. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks for the info.
