I'm a lefty, and I also struggle with pushing my longer clubs to the left. I've found that this occurs because I'm not getting the clubface through quickly enough relative to my hips, so it end up lagging behind in my swing. I've spent some time concentrating on being quicker with my hands, and now I'm generally starting the ball off on the right path. Now if I could only cure that slice...

Yesterday I shot a 99, which may be the first time breaking 100 since I started playing again this year. I say "may" because I loathe carrying around a scorecard, and I haven't been keeping track much until recently, when I got an app that helps me out :)

I'm not sure I am quite up to extremely challenging. The ANCC already kicks my butt :) I'll definitely head down there once I've improved a little!

I'll be playing at the Army Navy Country Club, in both Arlington and Fairfax. The Fairfax location is in rough shape right now, but it's minutes from where I work. I'll probably weekend in Arlington.

Hi All, Long story short, I lucked into a pretty great deal at a club close to where I work, so I'm hoping to start sneaking out to the range during lunch, and consistently play every weekend. I know that doesn't make me a golf fanatic, but compared to where I came from, it's a huge jump. I have an entry level set of TaylorMade irons, and just picked up their RocketBallZ 3-Wood, which I can't wait to try out! I'm looking forward to diving in, and I'm really impressed with this depth and quality of this board. Bill
