  1. $250 for a Bettinardi BB1 Short Slant. Hey, the insert is gold plated and it was bonus money... Too bad I'm currently bagging either a SeeMore FGP or a Hoganardi Baby Ben, both around $60.
  2. To save on some bucks and if you are patient and not concerned with speed, you could go singlespeed.
  3. I tried out the Tour Burner at a TM demo this weekend and I hit nice, high, straight drives over and over. Still able to work it a bit as well. Strangely, the 45.5" shaft didn't seem to affect me, but the 46" shaft in the Burner was too long for me. My R7 425 is now a backup...
  4. Yes, but not on purpose. It just ended up that way.
  5. Might be semantics here. I have one non-putting grip, but I rotate it weak to varying degrees to hit fades/flops/bunker shots.
  6. Get both! Seriously, if you want the 3/4H, the Ideas will be more cost effective. I went with MP-57s and just got an Idea Pro 2H. Seems like I can hit the 3i ok with the NS Pro shafts, so I'm off the 3H bandwagon for now.
  7. 1. I prefer the 3H out of FW bunkers and rough and like the 3i for knockdown shots when amongst the trees. 2. With divots, I think it depends on the hybrid. I've only used 2 3H before, a Rescue Mid and MD, and they couldn't be complete opposites. The MD performs better if you take a divot whereas I didn't like to take divots with the Rescue. Either way though, I get better results with a 3H using a slight descending blow vs. sweep. I recently put the 3i back in my bag because I have a 3i now that I can somewhat reliably hit high. And if I need a hybrid, I'll just choke up on my 2H.
  8. 2 hybrid for accuracy, unless the 5 wood helps you on long par 4s or 5s (doesn't make a difference for me). Probably good idea to have both and swap out based on the course.
