  1. I honestly think McIlroy could be the new Garcia. Struggles with putting, under achieves. Kaymer is the best in the world just now, last 6 months he is on a run no-one apart from Tiger could do.
  2. Rory got owned, until he improves his putting he is going to be an also ran.
  3. Acushnet lawyert will walk right on stage during this and hand Mr King the lawsuit for Vilegas.... Taylor Made are laughable.
  4. Anyone hit these yet? Keen to buy the 3 wood.
  5. I meant Kaymer is better at this moment.
  6. He is only 21 but he has been on tour the same amount of time as Kaymer, Kaymer is better this is FACT.
  7. That was incredible, Kaymer loves the Desert Swing like no other.
  8. I'd be surprised if he switched from his Scotty but you never know....I think Kaymer uses a Anser still.
  9. Ryo would have to proove he could win on other tours but boy has he got talent. Fowler for sure also, he just needs to get over the winner post a few times. I struggle with this...even without the US PGA Kaymer has won many moore times than Rory. Rory has won TWICE, guys please remember this he has won TWICE...
  10. I find that reply a little harsh however I am sorry if my syntax obscures my meaning iacas. I guess the law suit is of more interest to you than it is to me. There are many issues that are arising here, Taylor Made acquiring another star, the decline on tour of Cobra/Puma, breach of contract, advertising ethos etc etc. I wished more to discuss other issues within the story than the lawsuit that is arising from the story. I hope that is satisfactory to you.
  11. I reckon it is totally upto Tiger if he plays or not, he will definately be picked by Pavin but he may not accept depending on form. I'm really looking forward to The Barclays and the Play - Offs and also The Scottish PGA this week.
  12. He went through big swing changes in 2009 after a very good 2008, I think he has become more consistent without getting the breaks this season that you need to win apart from at the Honda. He played fantastic in the wind on Friday at St Andrews but just didn't hole the putts. I thought he played well also at Whistling Straits. Providing he clicks with the Taylor Made sticks he could be one to watch in 2011.
  13. Louis Oosthuizen?
  14. He is very good, I think Kaymer, McIlroy, Dustin Johnstone and Anthony Kim will be the dominant forces over the next 10 years, Tiger, Phil et all will win tournaments but those 4 will take over. http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/...golf-1.1048681
  15. What a joke, I can't believe how dumb some guys are on this forum. I appreciate I livge in Scotland but going to a golf tournie in anything other than golf shoes seems mad. If I went to the Open at St Andrews, Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor or US Open at Bethpage, I'd still wear golf shoes.
  16. qtong - Kaymer will make more headlines than McIlory as he will win more tournies, probably playing less 'Hollywood Golf' but will still win more.
  17. I think it does though as winning is winning, it's all about the mental strength to dig deep and get the job done. Kaymer has that, when he beat Hansen in the BMW play-off that was the making of him as he had thrown away a big lead, The Dunhill in 2008 is the onnly one that I can think Kaymer let go. McIlroy has shown he doesn't know how to do that yet, the players who have beaten McIlory to victory a lot have been ranked much lower than him, Lucquin at Omega Masters, Wen - Tang at at the Hong Kong Open, Dyson at The Dunhill etc I know he has won twice sinow but I feel he still lets more get away from him. I do like Rory but Kaymer is better at this moment in time, and I am starting to think Rory must be getting hyped beyond belief, also whoever says McIlroy is tougher is nonsense I think Kaymer is probably only second to Woods in the mental strength aspect of his game, which is startling when you consider he is 25.
  18. yes Camillo will still wear JL, that has already been confirmed
  19. I felt Villegas being sued was a seperate issue here that I will return to later, I do appologise. I see you have discussed it though so that's cool.
  20. Shirts - Puma Golf and Ralph Lauren Polo Sweaters - J Lindberg and Puma Golf Jackets and Windproof - Galvin Green Trousers - Nike Golf (Excellent fit) or Generic Frame (Slim Fit chino)
  21. I find Taylor Made very aggresive in the way they go about signing players up. They will soon have around 50 per cent of the Tour. They have so much advertising especially in the golf print press in the UK I wonder why they persue so many staff players. Also leaves a question mark over Cobra Puma.... They have now lost Villegas and Ogilvy within a year and whilst making excellent clubs are they going to market themselves as a club maker for the club golfer more than for tour players. OR are they going to puush Poulter and JB more AND potentially bring in Fowler?
  22. I think Kaymer learning to win on the EPD and European Challenge tours has helped him greatly. Kaymer won 8 times in 14 months on those 2 tours so he effectively learnt to win there before moving to the European Tour and World Stage. McIlory started on The European tour and has struggled to close events out. Kaymer is the more complete player for now, McIlroy maybe in a few seasons but I do believe he should have stayed in Europe until he won atleast 5 titles.
  23. That's who I'd like too see but I reckon the amount of rookies already qualified might rule out Fowler and Pavin will pick Cink instead, Cink has a good record and is the sort of hard to beat competitor you need.
  24. Tiger Woods Zach Johnson Stewart Cink or Scott Verplank Anthony Kim if fit.....or JB Holmes Too many rookies already will rule out Rickie Fowler and Sean O'Hair I think.
  25. Gleneagles is 40 mins from my house so I will be at the next 2 Ryder Cups in Europe.
