  2. I'm 27 and have been playing for about 16 years or so. Growing up, I've hit shots from 200 yds out with a 5W on a par 5, that sat on the rim of the cup. I've hit the par 5 semi-island green in 2 with a driver and 3W that left me with a downhill 80 fter that didn't go. I've pitched in from over 100 yds out, but it was only birdie because of a crap tee shot. I've even drove a par 4 green and hung on the edge of an ace on a par 3 more than once. All never fell. But, I don't mind to keep on trying til I can't try no more...
  3. Good advice. Don't have to worry about me doing the all orange thing though. Thats for sure
  4. I'm a bit OCD when it comes to matching brands. I've played Cobra clubs for awhile now, and since Puma bought Cobra, I've been wearing Puma stuff too. Everytime I go out to the course I hear Rickie Fowler comments. I refuse to buy orange stuff for that very reason. I can't wait until Rickie Fowler fades off so I can not be so self concious of wearing Puma. Its comfortable and looks good, but I'm sick of the b.s. Does this kinda stuff happen everywhere or just with my group of a-hole friends at my home course?
  5. Very interested in getting one of these. I know there are different sizing options, so I'm not sure of what specs to get. I hit a reg flex 10.5* Cobra S3 with a Fujikura Blur shaft. My miss is always short right. Any suggestions?
  6. The ProV1's I play go more sideways off the tee than any other ball I've played. A dream around the green, but at the expense of being in the trees on my 2nd shot almost every time.
  7. I've been playing a ProV1 for about 5 months and my handicap has shot through the roof. I have a slower swing speed and I tend to play a fade/slice 99.9% of the time. I'm also not very long because of this sometimes chronic slice. Only recently did I realize I'm playing a ball thats exagerating my sidespin off the tee. The Titleist website doesnt really give too many specifics on the differences of their balls, so I'm torn between trying the Velocity or DT SoLo. My top priority is getting more distance by minimizing sidespin. I can sacrifice short game performance as I'd like to think I'm pretty decent with chipping and approach shots. Any suggestions which ball may be right for me? Thanks
